The new Centers for Disease Control site offers information for clinical staff, infection control coordinators and residents. Topics include antibiotic stewardship, dialysis safety and hand hygiene. An estimated 1 to 3 million serious infections occur in LTC settings annually, the site notes. The CDC will continue to add content to the website.
